Requirements

  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
  • Additional Required Qualifications: Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting. Required to spend considerable time standing, walking and in close supportive contact with patients. Required to bend, pull, lift, perform variable movements, change position (assume awkward positions), transfer and/or lift adults and transport equipment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Ability to diplomatically address patient/family concerns. Evidence of continuous learning.

  • - Works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families.
  • - Must be able to team lead effectively on their own.
