Responsibilities

  • Provides direct support to PMA-234 NGJ Supportability Leads (Product Support Manager (PSM), Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML), Deputy APMLs, and Joint Program Office (JPO) Cooperative Program Personnel (CPP)), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and NSWC Crane Project Lead on all matters of product support.
  • Interfaces directly with the Platform and NGJ-MB Pod OEMs, FSTs, Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs), NAVAIR Commands, Squadrons, and Fleet Operators and Maintainers.
  • Directs the Crane product support/logistics team to accomplish tasks required to ensure a supportable product is fielded while balancing fleet needs, Program Office requirements, and NSWC Crane requirements.
  • Prepares Program Objective Memorandums (POMs), budgets, and resource estimates to accomplish all product support tasking.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and comments on all deliverables, briefs, plans, and engineering source data for adherence to program requirements.
  • Takes inputs from all team members for compilation into one product for delivery to stakeholders.
  • Briefs internal and external stakeholders at all levels on the status of the program's logistics/product support.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge and application of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2D).
  • Provides support to NGJ-MB Logistics Team Lead.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and comments on all NGJ-MB CDRLs.
  • Reviews engineering and logistics source data for adherence to program requirements.
  • Ensures supportability products are in accordance with 4790.2D Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
  • Reviews and updates NGJ-MB Maintenance Planning products, Provisioning Requirements, Maintenance Requirements Card (MRC), Periodic Maintenance Identification Card (PMIC), technical manuals (IETMs) information.
  • Provides product support inputs on Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives (TDs).
  • Acts as NGJ-MB Power Gen/Management, Structures, Wiring, Cooling Subsystems Subject Matter Expert (SME) for logistics.
  • Supports NGJ-MB organic depot standup efforts, ensuring appropriate equipment is identified, acquired, and sustained.
  • Coordinates with NAWCAD Lakehurst on SERD submittals/updates.
  • Responds to fleet requests for engineering or technical data.
  • Participates in weekly and bi-weekly telecoms and meetings as required.
  • Occasionally briefs status to members of NGJ-MB FST, AEA Systems Division Management, PMA-234 Product Support, and fleet.
