Responsibilities

  • Transferring patients between various areas of the hospital
  • Ensuring the safe movement of medical equipment/medical gases
  • Transporting clinical waste and dangerous materials
  • Movement of Stores
  • Cleaning of clinical and non clinical areas in line with the National Cleaning Standards.
  • During the winter months, December through to March, there is a requirement to support the winter maintenance of the area by ensuring pavements and carparks are prepared for our staff, visitors and patients on site.
