Responsibilities

  • Forecast, budget & long range financial planning: prepare and maintain approved local capital plan appropriation requests, write process and follow to approval local staffing
  • Hire, coach, train and mentor finance team members
  • Monthly close
  • Ensure policy compliance and internal controls
  • Ownership of balance sheet: coordination/planning with corporate - compliance with policies, account reconciliation and review
  • Monitor and evaluate risks the business unit faces: coordinate plans with management
  • Establish and drive execution of productivity and cost reduction initiatives
  • Coordination of inventory valuation and API's
  • Labor negotiation costing and modeling
  • Preparation and ownership of ABC cost and part profitability
  • Timely communication of financial matters to corporate, including matters that may require special accounting treatment, items that are material (whether routine or not)
  • Develop processes and set infrastructure to measure, understand and monitor business unit results relative to action plans and milestones
  • Ensure compliance with local taxation
