Responsibilities

  • Internal Advocacy Coordination: Coordinate company input to and/or participation in strategically important Codex Committees, including Committees with SME and/or regional leadership outside the immediate team.
  • Support Cross-Functional Collaboration for Global External Advocacy: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a science-based perspective underpins our comments on new/updated regulations, and help develop and socialize comments and other advocacy resources to Operating Units
  • Regulatory and Policy Tracking and Analysis: Working with senior team members, identifying and suggesting ways to address risks and opportunities related to regulatory and policy headwinds.
  • Trend Awareness and Horizon Scanning: Stay abreast of activities at key global standard setting bodies as well as scientific and regulatory trends that can offer opportunities to unlock growth. Maintain current knowledge of emerging trends and developments in policies, regulations, and nutrition science.
  • Straightforward Scientific Communications: Translate complex regulatory and scientific information into simple, easy-to-understand facts.
  • External Engagement: Be prepared to actively advocate in relevant industry and scientific organizations for company positions when needed.
