Responsibilities

  • - Process Optimisation: Maintain and improve manufacturing processes to meet ISO 9001 and quality standards and ensure robust designs and processes for high product yield, quality, and timely delivery.
  • - Collaboration and DFM: Work with cross-functional teams to implement design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.
  • - Continuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and optimise timelines.
  • - Process Evaluation: Assess and improve current processes to eliminate waste and increase output.
  • - Project Management: Manage time across multiple projects and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • - Manufacturing Routings: Design and implement manufacturing routings within the company's MRP system.
  • - Production Support: Collaborate with the production support team to achieve departmental KPIs.
  • - Knowledge Development: Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio and manufacturing processes and remain updated on relevant manufacturing technologies.
  • - Training and Documentation: Provide training on best practices and create detailed work instructions using CAD and written documentation.
