Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Engineering Manager Duties
  • FAIR Management: Lead the creation and management of new FAIRs and Delta FAIRs, ensuring compliance with AS9102 standards. Provide structured, detailed instructions to the shop floor, including drawing balloon generation, inspection records, and submission of data to customer portals.
  • Process Evaluation: Assess and refine manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research. Apply your knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve current processes, introduce new capabilities, and implement these changes from concept to completion. Work closely with equipment vendors to modify and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor process capabilities, establish standards, and confirm the effectiveness of manufacturing processes to ensure product and process quality. Provide decision-making information related to production, labor, and material costs.
  • Compliance: Maintain product and company reputation by adhering to governing regulations and internal policies, including health and safety standards, data protection, and company procedures.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed and providing support across departments.
