What qualifications are required for the Mechanic position?
A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry are required.
What will my day-to-day duties include?
Your day-to-day duties will include servicing, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles, diagnosing issues using computer-based diagnostic equipment, repairing or replacing parts, carrying out vehicle testing (if authorized), road testing vehicles, maintaining equipment, and completing documentation.
Is experience with electric vehicles needed for this role?
While experience with electric vehicles is not specifically required, training will be provided to become an EV accredited Technician.
What is the salary range for this position?
The salary range for the Mechanic position is £40,000 – £50,000, dependent on experience and training.
Are there opportunities for overtime?
Yes, all overtime is paid at time and a half.
How many days of annual leave will I receive?
You will start with 33 days of annual leave, with room to grow.
