Responsibilities

  • As a Mechanical Designer II, you will guide and execute the translation of ideas, rough sketches, and specifications into detailed plans for fabrication, assembly, and installation of products.
  • Your main responsibilities include using CAD software to design concept, assembly, and detail drawings, creating accurate bills of materials, and preparing drawing packages for customer submittal.
  • You will also support on-site installation crews, provide problem-solving solutions for space and performance constraints, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Additionally, you will train and mentor junior designers and perform other duties as assigned.
  • This role requires calculating manufacturing details and creating packing lists for the shipping department.
