Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; required
  • 0-2 Years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Acknowledgement in developing equipment specification, calculation, data sheets, drawings reviews and other documents related to the mechanical design
  • Design experience in industrial complex and / or marine terminals; preferred
  • General understanding of process design, process flow diagram development, and piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) development
  • Experience in piping design and other mechanical equipment; 3D design development experience a plus (Plant 3D, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.)
  • Some planning and task management skills; preferred
  • AutoCAD or computer aiding drafting experience
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Responsibilities

  • Perform 3D modelling and analysis of mechanical systems
  • Prepare design documents (plans and specifications) with an emphasis in utility service design
  • Engineer and design mechanical portions of waterfront facilities such as marinas, container terminals, marine oil terminals, and pump stations (sewer and storm water)
  • Conduct 3D model reviews, clash checks and interdisciplinary reviews of developed drawing packages
  • Participate in and conduct quality control reviews of deliverables
