Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Media Planners and Ad Ops Specialists; manage the day-to-day prioritization and operations of the team in close collaboration with the RMN manager and the Head of Empire Media+.
  • Oversee the development and execution of media plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and market trends.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to inform media planning strategies, including audience targeting, budget allocation, and channel selection.
  • Manage strategic relationships and ensure close collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Email, Site).
  • Establish best practices to ensure that media plans meet advertiser objectives, while optimizing campaign execution and in-flight performance.
  • Own and enhance tools and capabilities required for campaign planning and activation (e.g., inventory tracker, analytics dashboards).
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization in campaign planning, execution, and deployment processes (e.g., improving SLAs, automating inventory reservation).
