  • Lead and align the local medical strategy with the global one for the product and therapeutic area.
  • Oversee communication regarding medical issues with Global Medical Affairs and other international groups.
  • Anticipate needs related to Personalized Medicine.
  • Manage the local publication strategy and digital scientific communication.
  • Identify local evidence gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Participate in the global Integrated Evidence Plan.
  • Interface with scientific societies for R&D projects and align with global/local strategies.
  • Oversee local studies through all phases in collaboration with PDG and LEG.
  • Collect and analyze scientific insights from various stakeholders, including patients.
  • Conduct advisory meetings with TAEs and integrate their input into the local strategy.
  • Train/update PJPs and others to ensure a scientific approach.
  • Serve as the therapeutic area expert and support product lifecycle activities.
  • Respond to internal and external medical-scientific inquiries.
  • Participate in national/international scientific meetings.
  • Maintain relationships with key TAEs and ensure product access in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Establish scientific collaborations with National Medical Societies and Patient Associations.
