Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an account and project pipeline within a defined geographic market and/or customer base.
  • Liaise and share sales leads with other Kuehne-Nagel offices as needed to maximize opportunities.
  • Manage customer visits mainly in U.A.E. and Oman and abroad for new and ongoing project cargo opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure national customers are provided with applicable and effective solutions.
  • Provide operational supervision when required, based on the nature of the responsibility.
  • Coordinate tenders and bids for major potential customers, securing necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular communication and meetings within the Key Account Management Team and across other Development Functions.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among all Project Logistics Development Functions, including Operations.
  • Understand and respond to customers' urgent needs for all freight forwarding activities.
  • Provide spot quotations and perform up-selling and cross-selling during inbound customer calls.
  • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, objectives, and Management System documents related to Health, Quality, Safety standards.
  • Identify key countries/markets for assigned customers and support the formation of global development/account management teams.
