Responsibilities

  • The registered nurse is under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge and is responsible for providing direct patient care management.
  • The RN fosters positive, professional communications, functions according to the standards of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and the Churchill Regional Health Authority and will function as Nurse in Charge as directed by the Nursing Supervisor or Nurse in Charge.
  • The registered nurse will participate in Quality Service and Quality Improvement Programs and Function as a member of the health care team, participating in staff education and professional development.
