The main duties include supporting patients with personal care needs such as mobilising, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating, and drinking, as well as assisting the Nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care.
What type of training is provided for new Nursing Assistants?
New Nursing Assistants will be supported through the Support Worker Development Programme, which helps develop their knowledge and skills, enabling progression to a Band 3 role upon completion.
Is experience necessary to apply for the Nursing Assistant position?
No experience is required; however, experienced Nursing Assistants may undergo a skills analysis to identify any gaps and will receive support to access relevant clinical skills modules.
What are the shift patterns for this role?
Nursing Assistants will work flexibly across a range of day and night shifts over 7 days a week.
