What is the role of an Occupational Health Adviser?
The Occupational Health Adviser is responsible for providing a comprehensive and confidential Occupational Health Service, supporting the health and wellbeing of current and prospective employees, and managing a designated caseload within Occupational Health Clinics.
What kind of clinical activities will I be expected to deliver?
You will be expected to deliver activities such as pre-placement health clearance, risk management and exposure-related advice, and may also support management referrals and consultations.
Will I have any supervisory responsibilities?
Yes, you will support and manage junior members of the team to help achieve the agreed objectives for the Occupational Health service.
Who will I collaborate with while providing occupational health services?
You will work closely with Trust management, HR, OH Nurses, OH Technicians, Administrative Staff, and external clients as necessary.
