Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing the strategic plan for the team. Develop and execute the operational plan and measures ensuring it meets organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate continuous process improvement through identification, action planning and execution. Ensure accurate metrics are in place.
  • Lead and direct staff, including hiring, training, talent management, compensation administration, rewards and recognition, performance management, coaching and mentoring.
  • Manage the budget process and make fiscally responsible decisions.
  • May serve as a supplier manager for products of the team or division.
  • Monitor and communicate business developments, ensuring operations are in line with changes needed to serve customers and remain competitive. Serve as a change agent to move the business forward.
