Responsibilities

  • - Providing support to our fee earners
  • - Assisting on a varied caseload whereby we are acting for clients in civil abuse claims against various organisations and institutions
  • - Assisting on public inquiry work including the Covid 19 Public Inquiry
  • - Assisting our busy fee earners, including legal research
  • - Gathering and reviewing records and collating information
  • - Producing chronologies of often lengthy and complex material
  • - Attending conferences and client meetings alongside fee earners to take notes
  • - Preparing bundles for court, experts, counsel and defendants
  • - Opening new files
  • - Drafting documents
  • - Dealing with a large volume of new enquiries that come into the department with other members of the team
