Responsibilities

  • Host visitors.
  • Help train staff and volunteers, maintains park grounds and equipment.
  • Provides information in response to visitor questions, direction, guidance, and concerns.
  • Provides customer service by phone and in-person and respond to public inquiries about park hours, accommodations, and reservations.
  • Perform cashier duties at Contact Station/Gift Shop.
  • Collect and account for fees for park admission and store purchases.
  • Responsible, under supervision and as a shift leader, for the safe and compliant park operation of the water and wastewater plants in accordance to the requirements established by ADEQ and ASPT policies and procedures.
  • Provides directions as needed to subordinate staff when needed in order to maintain this standard.
  • Promote the safety of park visitors, enforce park rules, protect park resources, utilize two-way radio communications system, confers with local officials and law enforcement officers, completes all necessary reports concerning incidents.
  • Assists park management with maintaining/inspecting park infrastructure and training implementation/development.
  • Completes reports regarding activities, transactions and progress relating to sale activities, oversees completion of monthly, weekly and daily accounting reports.
  • Fills a primary role in the operation and maintenance of water and waste water plants in accordance with ADEQ regulations and the associated documentation.
  • Lead and assist in training subordinate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
