Responsibilities

  • - Support an efficient waiting list service to the consultants and their team in respect of NHS work
  • - Work flexibly with or alongside waiting list staff, consultants and other teams as required
  • - Administration and clerical duties including waiting list management, appointment scheduling, reception duties and answering telephone queries
  • - Responsible for managing and organising the workload of members of the pathway support team ensuring a friendly and efficient reception and bookings service
  • - Provide training and support to the pathway support team to ensure a high standard of clerical service for our Patients and Clinical colleagues
  • - Be a confident communicator and able to liaise with the A&C team, clinicians, clinical staff and patients
