What are the main responsibilities of a Payroll and Expenses Officer?
The main responsibilities include processing end to end monthly payrolls for approximately 1700 colleagues, weekly staff expense claim payments, month-end reconciliations, annual reporting and pay-over of P11Db and PAYE Settlement Agreement, ensuring compliance with GMC policies and HMRC legislation, and producing accurate and timely information for a wide-ranging audience.
How often will the successful candidate be required to work in the office?
To start with, we would like the successful candidate to come into the office weekly for induction and training. After that, it will settle into a regular Finance arrangement of once every 2 weeks in the office on a rolling day.
