Responsibilities

  • Confidently influence, coach, and counsel leaders and managers on people related matters to foster a strong Aon United culture of inclusion, courage, connection, and accountability.
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches to effect improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  • Collaborate with People Org Centers of Excellence (COE) including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, Learning and Development and others, on key initiatives to support business needs.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational design activities, serve as the first line of support for change management and effective communications of business/unit strategy.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of new and updated People programs and policies to provide proper guidance and drive adoption of changes.
  • Responsible for managing annual cycle activities (performance, talent, compensation, and engagement) across designated client groups.
  • Ensure a high-performance standards are met, coach managers to ensure they create a culture on their teams of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Contribute to strong colleague engagement by working with our Head of Colleague experience to drive action planning and ensure intended impact from our annual talent management cycle activities across designated client groups.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and initiatives across the organization.
  • Contribute to global, functional and/or regional ad-hoc projects as needed.
