Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR related matters, including but not limited to performance & competence management, labor & employee relations, organizational development & change and talent development.
  • Partner with department heads to identify talent needs, facilitate the recruitment process, and onboard new team members effectively.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on effective leadership practices, conflict resolution, and team dynamics.
  • Maintain effective relationships with labor unions and interact with union officials and others on matters pertaining to employee relations concerns and collective bargaining agreement provisions. Collective bargaining agreement administration and interpretation. Participate in contract negotiations and grievance resolution.
  • Consistently utilize Continuous Improvement techniques to optimize position and department efficiencies and serve as a People Development Coach to managers and the organization.
  • Build relationships at all levels within the organization to effectively maximize employee involvement in driving change.
  • Proactively build and promote strong employee trust and open communication among all levels of the organization.
