Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will process prescription exceptions including: resolving claim rejects, member and physician outreach. Your tasks will include entering member demographics and prescription information into our data processing system. You will research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues. You will also assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls. Your role is crucial in supporting the utilization review team, dealing primarily with authorization guidelines which vary per prescription and coverage type (State, Medicaid, Medicare).
