Responsibilities

  • - Working as a bank Band 5 Physiotherapist you will have the opportunity work across a variety of clinical areas across inpatients and outpatients. These areas include orthopaedics, medicine, stroke, elderly rehab, Surgery, MSK outpatients and supported discharge and general community team.
  • - You will have the opportunity to develop your skills with support from experienced Specialist and Advanced Physiotherapists.
  • - As experience is gained you will work to support our on-call and weekend service at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, this is on a rota basis.
  • - This is a clinical, patient facing role where you will be involved in providing clinical input for a caseload of patients, supporting discharge and patient flow as part of the MDT.
  • - You will have the opportunity to contribute to service improvement, helping to develop and improve our pathways of care for our patients.
  • - We actively support you to develop your knowledge and skills via our Annual Development Review programme and you will have the opportunity to learn from a team of experienced Specialist and Advanced Physiotherapists.
