What is the employment type for this position?
This position is temporary part-time, with a fixed term contract of 12 months.

Yes, candidates must be a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Yes, being an Assistive Devices Program Authorizer and having FIM certification and experience with NRS are considered assets.
Is COVID-19 vaccination required for new hires?
Yes, all new hires must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada, with the final dose completed at least 14 days prior to the start of employment.
Will the employer consider requests for exemption from the vaccination requirement?
Yes, requests for exemption will be considered on a case-by-case basis in alignment with the Hospital's obligations pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Does this position require supervising students?
Yes, the successful candidate will be responsible for orientating and supervising PT and PTA students.
