  • A Financial Analyst analyses historic and forecasts future revenue and expenditures to help make decisions based on sound financial data and financial analysis.
  • He/she should highlight researching and reporting on financial information, as well as monitoring financial movements within the market.
  • Top objective includes:
  • Developing financial models and providing reliable financial forecasts.
  • Analyzing current and past financial data and identifying trends.
  • Identifying Risks and Opportunities and running sensitivities scenario.
  • Advising and challenging operational people when elaborating and/or analyzing the business model.
  • Evaluating Business Plans (DCF, IRR, gearing, liquidity, credit rating, etc…).
  • Providing recommendations to Top Management (RMC, commercial analysis, Supplier Watchtower, Business Case, M&A).
  • Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business.
  • Consulting with management teams to develop long-term commercial plans.
  • Exploring different investment opportunities and provide management recommendations.
  • Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth.
  • Suggesting budgets and improvements based on the above information.
