Responsibilities

  • - Works on and manages ITS and data intensive projects, both standalone and as a component of larger projects for a variety of clients
  • - Conducting training sessions within and outside of Parsons on advanced transportation solutions
  • - Works on transportation related projects to integrate advanced technologies
  • - Participates in strategic planning for development and marketing of ITS and Data Science services
  • - Provides mentoring and guidance to staff regarding technical components of ITS and Data Science projects
  • - Participates in regular staff meetings and project coordination meetings
  • - Participates in business development efforts, seeking new opportunities with new and existing clients
  • - Act as a teacher/mentor to staff, and help direct staff efforts on projects
  • - Assists in the development of ITS management plans as requested by clients
  • - Works with public transportation agency staff to understand their challenges, evaluate and recommend strategies, and follow through with delivery of solutions
  • - Works collaboratively with Parsons staff and clients to successfully complete project assignments
  • - Participates in and presents project findings in writing and at client meetings

  • - Streamlining data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines
