Responsibilities

  • To provide procurement expertise to stakeholders within the Trust: by undertaking low value procurements for IT products and services.
  • To provide the Procurement Team with effective and professional administrative and clerical support.
  • To ensure the Trusts achieve value for money in the purchasing of goods and services, with appropriate competitive quotations from suppliers.
  • To ensure that Trusts’ procedures governing expenditure (Standing Orders, Standing Financial Instructions, related STH/SCH Policies) are complied with, and that the Trusts meets their related obligations under Procurement Regulations, legislation and English contract law.
