Responsibilities

  • Establish and improve relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company goods and services
  • Manage a portfolio of goods and services by sourcing, tendering, negotiating and agreeing contracts via a robust supplier selection process
  • Research new products and services to meet the company's requirements
  • Assess, control and minimise Group operating costs relating to the acquisition of goods and services
  • Contribute to a Group Procurement Function capable of meeting the extended procurement requirements of the organisation
  • Educate internal stakeholders in good Procurement practice
  • Work closely with key category stakeholders, the Head of Procurement and the Procurement team to deliver costs saving targets
  • Assist stakeholders in resolving supplier issues when problems are escalated to Procurement
