Responsibilities

  • Supporting the cross-functional development team in ensuring that Product Backlog Items (PBIs) have adequate detail to facilitate squads in estimating their work.
  • Performing product backlog decomposition, ensuring that all PBIs track towards achieving the stated objectives and key results.
  • In conjunction with the Product Owner, defining and articulating User Personas to help the product development team understand the needs, motivations, goals, behaviors and preferences of the target audience.
  • In conjunction with technical experts in the areas of User Design, Fraud Prevention and Technology Architecture, assist in laying out constraints for non-functional considerations.
  • Supporting the Product Owner to shape product objective and key results. Partnering with the development team to iteratively deliver valuable product functionality that accomplishes these objectives.
  • Identifying stakeholders and engaging them where necessary in a timely fashion.
  • Working with Product Owners to maintain product strategy and roadmaps based on market research.
  • Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to extract actionable insights that are product specific.
  • Working collaboratively with the research team within the strategy group.
  • Partnering with sales and marketing in the development of product information, trends, samples, competitive information, and promotional strategies.
  • Confidently communicating detailed information in an impactful way, to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Interac’s partners and customers and fostering open two-way communication as a trusted advisor and brand representative.
