Responsibilities

  • The role will be responsible for making evidenced based strategic and tactical product decisions and making key priority calls.
  • You'll be actively involved in developing the product strategy, owning the product roadmap, and communicating product success to stakeholders but also defend controversial decisions about your product.
  • You'll apply product management techniques to guide the development, delivery and continuous improvement of products and services.
  • While you will work independently, you’ll also be part of a more complex area with the support of a more senior Product Manager.
  • You’ll line manage and coach subject matter experts, supporting their professional growth and ensuring high-quality delivery within their areas of expertise.
  • Additionally, you’ll be a part of our Product Community of Practice, where Product Managers across DWP Digital come together to share learning, discuss their development needs, gain support, and solve common problems.
