Responsibilities

  • Your duties will be to drive client workload modernization or enhanced client security posture on z/OS and across the enterprise You will be responsible for owning one or more key initiatives, taking them from concept to production and working through the product management process and discipline along the way. You will collaborate with design, development, operations staff, and other fellow PMs to bring these initiatives to market.
  • z/OS Product Managers are responsible for owning business aspects of these initiatives as well as ensuring that technical requirements have been met by the appropriate teams prior to product/feature launch.
  • As a member of the z/OS Product Management Team, you have the opportunity to manage initiatives like RACF, IBM Z cryptographic capabilities (ICSF), IBM z/OS Container Extensions (zCX), along with other Security or Workload Modernization efforts in the flagship operating system for IBM Z.
