Responsibilities

  • End-to-end Portfolio Management, both at Global and R&D Site levels
  • Oversee the demand management process to ensure demands are mapped to the right teams and projects, aligned with R&D goals and R&D IT portfolio, ensuring it is well reflected on Service Now PPM.
  • Collect key IT deliveries impacting R&D sites and consolidate them in our Integrated Plan to provide visibility and increase coordination and planning across R&D sites
  • Coordinate invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing to feed into dynamic forecasting for Above Market and Functional Envelope budgets.
  • Oversee IT Service Management (ITSM) operations, including change and request activities, acting as R&D IT contact point with Service Management to ensure seamless operations and coordinate with R&D IT vendors, particularly new ones, to establish operational governance.
  • Identify areas for automation and elimination to give R&D IT people time back to focus on delivering value to R&D, while driving adoption of continuous improvement of stream operations.
  • Build clear and documented ways of working in R&D IT for PPM activities and Service Management.
  • Improve and standardize processes when needed in Portfolio and Service Management area for R&D IT.
  • Maintain a central and updated Integrated Plan listing all key projects impacting R&D sites.
  • Ensure all streams operations are clearly documented and running smoothly.
  • Define rules and standards where needed.
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset for all operations aspects.
