Responsibilities

  • For ensuring that the timely availability of components and documentation satisfies production requirements.
  • Tracking of required material for workstations in SAP and communicate Estimated Time of Arrival.
  • Create, manage excel material status report and communicate to procurement outstanding status using SAP system.
  • Release material networks in the SAP system and communicate to the warehouse.
  • Identify missing material for already delivered workstations and upcoming deliveries.
  • Organise replacement material from the warehouse in case of loss, damage, or NCR in production.
  • Ensure that Minimum Stock levels are Maintained during Production Execution.
  • Daily walkthrough on the production line identifying potential material shortages and expediting accordingly.
  • Liaise with supervisors in each station compiling a uniform list of critical items to expedite and distribute to relevant departments.
  • Expedite urgent material from the warehouse and suppliers with the aim of a short turnaround time.
  • Have an integrational approach on expediting all missing material whether from CR, NCR etc.
  • Return NCR material to warehouse and ensure replacement material is returned to production.
  • Maintain an NCR tracker and communicate with procurement, Quality and ESS replacement material.
  • Update relevant visual management boards with relevant missing material and communicate the information accordingly.
  • Attend daily material meetings and feedback to production control.
  • Manage consumable parts in production and maintain a KPI.
  • Must be able to work night and day shifts when required.
