Responsibilities

  • Working with technical experts, the project coordinator supports proposals, including development of work scopes, schedules, and cost estimates for senior review;
  • Providing coordination and logistics activities including set-up of field work programs, preparation of field work instructions, equipment provision and subcontractor procurement;
  • Preparing and adhering to site-specific health and safety plans to mitigate or eliminate risks to WSP clients, employees and the public;
  • Monitoring and reporting of project progress including variance analysis, while assisting project managers to forecast cost to complete their projects;
  • Preparing cost change management, including assisting project managers with variations and updating relevant project documentation;
  • Assisting project managers with issuing monthly invoices, ensuring invoicing aligns with contractual agreements and client requirements; and
  • Acting in a key role to deliver a variety of geotechnical assessment and construction implementation projects.
