Responsibilities

  • YOU will make sure these activities are performed in a coordinated manner, in compliance with the GE Vernova requirements to protect the equipment, and in the best interest of GE Vernova from an overall project perspective.
  • Drive Health, Safety, Security, and Welfare of all personnel working on the offshore converter platform and the protection of the environment.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are developed and emergency exercises and drills are scheduled.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of Risk Assessments, as well as the capture of Lessons Learned.
  • Preparation for Sail-away (including sea fastening, weighting, shipping company interface, etc.)
  • Loading of the platform on the ship
  • Interface with the Marine Warranty Surveyor
  • Transport by sea up to the North Sea (including preservation, etc.)
  • Installation/fixing of the jacket and topside, hook-up
  • Jack-up barge availability with appropriate capacity to accommodate GE personnel
  • Transport of personnel and material to/from Jack-up barge and to/from platform
