Responsibilities

  • Project planning, scheduling, resourcing and dependency management following the approved Munich Re project management methodology based on PMBOK and Agile practices.
  • Estimations, scope management and execution of projects for scope, time budget and quality.
  • Manage business requirements and ensure these are agreed at all levels throughout the business utilizing formal methodologies
  • Documenting and managing project change control, Risk and Issue Management for the project, plan and monitor measures for mitigation and avoidance of impact on the project.
  • Liaison with, and management of, suppliers to produce project deliverables
  • Coordinate project deliveries and ensure their sign-off.
  • Reporting project progress using agreed reporting lines, templates and processes
  • Leading of project team and steering committee meetings, Ensure and coordinate cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Management of escalations within team, with project sponsor and stakeholders
  • Bespoke software development and system integration: managing the software development cycle in incremental iterations based on agile software development methodology (Scrum like)
  • Undertake learning of IT offerings to identify and provide business units with expertise and advice on how best to utilise within their business processes
  • Ensure compliance to obligatory rules (including regulators requirements according to MR Policies and Guidelines)
