What are the main responsibilities of the PTA/OTA Assistant?
The PTA/OTA Assistant supports patients with treatment modalities under the direction of Physiotherapists, assists patients with mobility, and helps maintain or improve their functional level.
What is the work schedule for the PTA/OTA Assistant?
The PTA/OTA Assistant is scheduled for one Saturday and Sunday shift out of every 4 weekends, and may also be required to work on statutory holidays.

A graduate from a recognized Community College OT/PT Assistant program is required.

Yes, a minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital-based experience is required, including experience in medicine, surgery, and geriatric care.
