Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Negotiations and Tenders for Transport in the NCE region for Wind farm projects (Port handling, Trucking, barging and possibly short sea vessels for the wind turbine main components)
  • Responsible for developing and executing Procurement strategy for Transport commodities. Supporting definition of requirements / Sourcing / RFQ / Selection / Contracting
  • Maintain fruitful relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders: Sales teams, Construction & Transport Project Managers and Supply Chain
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve our Safety and Quality performance, reduce the CPQ and streamline processes
  • Manage contracting process to ensure that Vestas interests are properly represented
  • Accountable for performance results for the suppliers in charge, participate in the supplier performance review meetings
  • Follow Vestas processes, policies & tools and code of conduct in daily work
