Responsibilities

  • Comply with all McCain QC procedures, safety policies and regulations.
  • Collect product samples from the packaging line every ½ hour.
  • Perform a series of tests on the sample product, operating all relevant equipment in QC lab (lab fryer, length classifier, salt analyzer, etc.).
  • Using specifications provided by the customer, grade the final product based on test results.
  • Must learn how to use SAP, WMS, Crystal Reports, and SPC software.
  • Complete the required documentation.
  • Communicate test results to resolve quality issues with Supervision and Operators on a regular basis.
  • Conduct metal detector and x-ray verifications.
  • Set up case code and loma requirement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
