What are the primary responsibilities of the Quality Manager?
The Quality Manager is responsible for coordinating and expediting the manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements, controlling the sequence of inspection and testing activities, providing continuous feedback and reporting, and supporting purchasing and shipping activities.
What experience is required for this position?
A qualified artisan with more than ten years of experience in expediting and Quality Control is required.
Will I have the authority to make decisions as a Quality Manager?
Yes, the Quality Manager will have the necessary authority and independence to ensure all contractual, schedule, and quality requirements are met.
How will I interact with vendors and suppliers?
You will be responsible for contacting vendors and suppliers via mail, phone, or in-person visits to verify and ensure that equipment, components, and goods are shipped and delivered on specified dates.
Is there a requirement for reporting discrepancies during inspections?
Yes, you will need to compile reports on the progress of work, activities, and any discrepancies found during inspections within 24 hours.
Will I be involved in client inspections?
Yes, you will accompany client representatives during shop visits and inspections.
