What type of work will I be doing as a Radiographer?
As a Radiographer, you will be involved in plain film, theatre and mobile work, and CT imaging.
Where will I be based as a Radiographer?
You will be based at the Lister Hospital but may also be required to work at the Trust’s other sites in Welwyn Garden City and Hertford.
What is the work schedule like for this position?
The department operates on a 7-day shift pattern with extended working hours, so a flexible approach to work patterns is essential.

Are students eligible to apply for this position?
Yes, students qualifying in June are encouraged to apply. You may start as a band 4 while awaiting your HCPC registration.

Training in CT procedures and cannulation will be provided as part of your role.
What types of imaging equipment are available in the department?
The department is equipped with CR/DR systems, CT, MRI, Breast Imaging, DXA Scanning, Spect CT scanner, and various Ultrasound services.
