Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, The Radiological Technologist is responsible for the delivery of patient centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision while exercising independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while continuously remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care.
  • The Radiological Technologist is responsible for effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary environment while fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.
  • Travel to other sites may be required.
