Education, Work Experience, Licensure/Certifications, and Technical Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Survey Engineering, Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Entry level position, no prior experience required. Any experience in geomatics, 3D imaging, laser scanning, data collection or modeling a plus. 
FAA Part 107 Certified and/or experience working with unmanned aerial systems (drones) preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.
Ability to acquire a U.S. Passport may be required.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
Primarily outdoor work environment and may be exposed to outside weather conditions, varying temperatures, excessive noise, and/or potential hazards.
Mobility around a job/construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, or kneeling and wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Frequent and prolonged use of data collection equipment and/or drones, necessitating walking the assigned study area to complete data collection over the course of several hours.
Local and out-of-the-area, and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.
Overtime and weekend work may be requested, as needed.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Direction:
Perform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processes. Receive direction on all aspects of assignments, specific tasks and how to execute. Work is thoroughly reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles.
At the Operational and Company Level:
Collaborate with multiple internal departments to develop and execute the field project plan.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Do the Work:
Travel up to 100% of the time to various project sites and execute the field data collection plan utilizing reality capture devices (mobile, terrestrial, and drone) on a range of commercial and building projects throughout the United States.
Ensure that project tasks have been completed, processed, reviewed, and delivered per project requirements and parameters.
Determine issues and risks and proactively work with the team to forecast and resolve challenges.
Continually advance knowledge and training with upgrades in technology and equipment.
