Responsibilities

  • Act as the Prevention Technician for Spanish business activities.
  • Manage H&S operations for Gartner’s business activities in EMEA.
  • Maintain the site safety assessment program, review reports of findings, make recommendations for improvements, and ensure corrective actions have been implemented.
  • Manage site level safety committees, develop new committees as required.
  • Partner with Gartner Real Estate, site leaders, and corporate services leaders to drive a successful, compliant H&S program.
  • Provide H&S expertise to the Gartner Crisis Management and Business Continuity programs.
  • Support corporate investigations where associate safety is, or may be, affected.
  • Respond to H&S queries made by the business.
  • Advise and consult with internal stakeholders and partners on H&S issues.
  • Where appropriate, coordinate with emergency services, enforcement, and other relevant governmental functions, as well as private sector counterparts, to ensure Gartner’s H&S and emergency management policies and practices are aligned.
  • Monitor H&S performance through key performance indicators and relevant metrics.
  • Review end-to-end processes to identify potential innovations such as technology-enabled efficiencies.
  • Manage third-party and vendor business relationships, including liaising with Gartner Procurement and overseeing contract terms and ensuring that all service level agreements are met.
  • Keep apprised of emerging H&S issues where Gartner operates, including legislative and regulatory changes.
