Responsibilities

  • Understand and defines current market segmentation and related offering positioning. Defining offering value proposition and clear positioning per segments & channels and ensures clear communication to sales, channels and users.
  • Determine the offering business plan that supports sustainable growth, identifying potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunities.
  • Leads the life-cycle management process. Analyzing current offering, defining and tracking performance metrics, planning appropriate measures and making decisions on offering obsolescence to ensure market requirements are met and profitability maximized.
  • Contributes to development of new portfolios, using process stage gates, planning the offering roadmap to create maximum value for the customer needs. Initiating and driving product launch and following-up of offering portfolio performance.
  • Owns the technical and market specifications for the offering. Initiates creation of external and internal product training modules and programs as needed.
  • Participate in annual business planning and monitor global sales target fulfilment along the year.
  • Participate to creating a Sustainability strategy for the offering portfolio, supporting ABB's commitment to circular economy.
