Requirements

  • A minimum of an Undergraduate degree in a health or social sciences discipline; a graduate degree in health or highly related social science discipline is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related project coordination experience in human service (e.g., health, social service).
  • Experience in a health setting is a requirement strong preference will be given to applicants with continuing care (e.g., nursing home) experience.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and update detailed project timelines and deliverables for the region, ensuring targets are achieved.
  • Some travel to Continuing care homes may be required.
  • Understand and maintain study protocols to reflect the requirements of the studies.
  • Maintain a small budget of local resource funds; monitoring the budget, compiling and submitting financial reports to the TREC Management team.
  • Attend training sessions, team meetings, and AGMs (usually held in Edmonton).
  • Ensure that regular communication is maintained at all participating facilities in the region and respond in a timely way to all issues and queries from the facilities.
  • Help develop project materials including documents, questionnaires, packages, etc.
  • Help ensure that project data is collected in a timely manner.
  • Obtain appropriate permissions for the survey scale.
  • Ensure that quality control procedures are adhered to, and the highest quality data is collected.
  • Problem-solving on the fly and escalating issues as appropriate. Must be able to troubleshoot any immediate issues arising from collecting data.
  • Assist with recruitment, data collection, and data management for the projects.
  • Work collectively with members of the TREC team to develop and deliver multi-media feedback to managers and care aides.
  • Complete reports for the funder and separate narrative reports for key stakeholders.
  • Support presentations, e.g., PowerPoint, and all arrangements, etc.
