Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • 5 years' experience in the financial services industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • FINRA Series 6, 63, and 26 licenses or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • FINRA fingerprinting upon hire
  • Ability to travel the majority of the time, including overnight travel
  • Previous management and retirement wholesaling experience
  • Knowledge of 457 plans
  • Strong network of financial advisor relationships

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for revenue growth through new Plan Sponsor sales in assigned territory through intermediaries
  • Plan, develop, present, negotiate, and close highly effective retirement solutions to prospective Plan Sponsors and/or Pension Consultants/Advisors
  • Identify and build relationships with potential key stakeholders/decision makers at the plan level (sponsor and/or advisor)
  • Assemble and direct the team in the development of the RFP (Request for Proposal), the site visit, the finals presentation, and contract close
  • Effectively transition new stakeholder relationships to the field and Relationship Managers
  • Review and update intelligence on plan opportunities within assigned territory
