Responsibilities

  • In your new role, you will be responsible to support maximizing sales and profitability of the SF (Specialty Films) and CA-MED (Coatings & Adhesives Medical) business by implementing short- and long-term sales strategies based on the principals’ targets.
  • As such you coordinate and conclude sales deals within defined expectations of the principal in the assigned area (focus on Identification, Medical, and Security Glazing customers).
  • This includes the negotiation of supply contracts, quantities, prices, terms of conditions, etc.
  • Moreover, you will generate information about the customer’s demand estimation, competitive situation, and the general market conditions to improve Covestro’s position as a key supplier.
  • As a result, you provide support and local insights to the principal for the development of the sales strategy and marketing plan.
  • Introduce medical products and applications to potential customers and partners in the region - gather, assimilate, and analyze customer needs & market trends.
  • Fill the project pipeline by identifying new business opportunities along the value chain and pushing ongoing projects into sales.
  • You act as first point of contact towards customers helping to solve and coordinate critical issues in areas such as product quality/specifications or material supply.
  • You monitor relevant local regulations and laws, which might influence principals’ business and inform the principal accordingly.
  • Finally, you will visit and contribute to commercial and technical fairs as well as propose advertising in appropriate journals where applicable.
